Simple Burlap Wreaths

There are lots of different wreath ideas out there and I thought I would share one of mine that I did last year.  The nice thing about these is that they are fast and easy.  Pick up a wreath form, either foam or grapevine, pick out the appropriate burlap colors to suit the holiday/season, and get to work!

Here are a few examples of different wreath combos I have done.  You can stick to just burlap, or you can add a few sprigs of berries, or a ribbon.  I also made a felt rose for one of my wreaths (pardon the blurry photo from my phone).

You can also choose to tie the burlap on thick, thin, or only on part of the wreath.  If you are doing a small wreath, this should take you no time at all.  Cut small strips of burlap and begin tying them onto your wreath.  If you choose a foam wreath, you may have to wrap it with burlap first to cover all the foam.
My mom used this project as a take-home activity in her studio and the ladies loved it.  It also makes a great hostess gift for Thanksgiving or an early Christmas gift for a friend.

Sweet & Simple, enjoy your Friday!
